She was a national team member athlete and has experienced both receiving and giving massage for athletic performance, injury prevention, and recovery. She is a practicing martial artist in the Taoist tradition of Wudang Pai, and draws from this in helping clients develop postural awareness and self-correction. Her goals are to help you find release, recovery, and a feeling of being back in your center. She likes to find "the hinge" - that spot where everything seems to come together. Gerrit graduated from the Swedish Institute and is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of New York.
